I'm not sure. I kind of want to take a Southern Gothic/Western angle. Like, the character's parents are corpos who want things to be like they were in "the good old days." A pair of racist, ornery weaklings (both moral and physical) who cherrypicked the parts of the Old South they liked and ignored the rest, talking about "moral purity" and "freedom" before turning around and telling people that they don't deserve it because of the circumstances they were born into.
They run a luxury hotel corporation, and the character I'd be playing would be going through a sort of "coming of age trial" where they've been kicked out into the streets to make their family proud and expand the business with nothing but the clothes on their back.

It's like this world that I sorta want to make a thread for. Post apocalyptic horror. Beings roam the land, called Horrors, creatures that embody all the negative of things in the world. People can get superpowers too from making pacts with Horrors, being experimented on, or just acquiring enough trauma that they become basically mini-horrors. I want to work on it, but I keep blanking on what I want to work on. Would like to know if anyone would join a thread set in this world.
