Have any of you watched The Producers? It's where two producers scam a bunch of old, rich ladies out of their money by convincing them to support a fascist play ---- but when the audience begins to think it's satirical, it becomes a huge hit.
So, same premise: how badly could you f*ck up a country? And how could you do it in a way that you actually succeed and become more popular? I dunno. Feels like another thread for committing atrocities. Maybe. Stupid idea I just had.

That’s difficult, I think one of the best movies I’ve seen was The Thing but there are a couple of other movies up there. Probably Pan’s labyrinth or Inglorious Basterds, and I’ve been meaning to watch It Follows, but it’s an 18.

And Himy, I see no issue with that, even though I'm not gonna make the thread. 3.2 explicitly states that it discusses real-world politics and affiliations, not fictional ones. If all politicism was banned, it would essentially render (at a minimum) half of PbP campaigns as against the rules. As long as it's kept in a fictional setting, with fictional characters, fictional laws, and then beliefs based on those fictional foundations, there are no issues.

Yes. But with the way how some of you people (you know who you are) manage to turn the most innocent things into politics and drama, a thread that is more explicitly about politics, fictional as they may be, could very quickly become an issue. Especially if it’s similar to the movie or show that you used as an example

I agree with Himy here. I'd rather avoid all of that. If we have to talk about politics, and I'd rather we just, y'know, didn't, but if we have to then we can make a PM for it.
