The third level feature for draconic sorcerer gives you a natural 13 AC that works with your dexterity that's why you need to change your stats if you multiclass into draconic sorcerer

Okay so essentially draconic sorcerer is a more tanky option but storm sorcerer's damage scales with its level

And, one of the main reasons I would go sorcerer is for transmuted spell (From Tasha's) because then I can pair that with Tempus cleric
