Tavern idea: Shadow Under Otrembert
The District Spires are hollow, and those who descend find unimaginable horrors... and a fat paycheck.
Beneath the swamp-city, in the steam and muck and pipes, they mine the fossilized gods and holy minerals. The people above think nothing of these resources; but the people afar treat them with such reverence that any price is worth getting their hands on some.
The Shadow is a sprawling Restorator where the Soulless labor, providing endless food, drinks, herbal baths, soft bedding, and whatever else is demanded of them. Every Spire has multiple entry points to the Shadow, and nearly everyone can afford access, no matter how little they're paid.
I'll come up with more details about The Shadow before I consider posting it.
