Sure, I can speak on it. Things are looking up recently, these are old events, and I have actually spoken on this once before, but here goes (Spoilered because it contains possible triggers and mentions suicide)
My girlfriend died about two days before Christmas Eve last year, after being diagnosed with cancer late in the previous month. We buried her on New Year's Eve, and I planned to off myself at midnight. One of my close friends called me just a few hours before the action was planned to happen. He asked if I was okay, I said I wasn't going to see him for the party we normally have on New Year's Eve, and he figured it out and got me the help I needed. If he didn't call, I wouldn't be here, so I thank him
