Senbonzakura: An absolute classic. This is the only one I'm putting here without a generally uplifting theme. It's actually about the loss of japanese culture during the meiji restoration, but its vibes are so immaculate and powerful it helped Japan recover after the devastating 3/11 earthquake. True story. The original is good, but i'd recommend checking out Ado's cover
Kami no manimani: My go-to comfort song. It tells the story of Amaterasu (my favorite myth growing up) but also carries the message to not beat yourself up about everything and to stop worrying and just let loose a little. The original, once again, is great, but my two favorite covers are by Jubyphonic and also the girl group Dancing Dolls
Magical cure love shot: This one's just really fun. It's about miku being a magical girl and perservering for the people she loves even when things get hard.
Banana song: This one is just silly. It is about bananas. That's it.
Electric weekend zone: The vocaloid song i would be most comfortable playing at a party, because it's just about partying
Luka Luka night fever: Similar story, just party the problems away.
Human: A song about a robot wanting to be human. It's a direct and hopeful allegory for the trans experience, and it makes me cry every time
FUN!!: okay, this one's technically not a vocaloid song, but I'm counting it anyway because it brings me joy and whimsy
Ochame Kinou: Just a really fun playful teto song
Birdbrain: I think this one's about neurodivergent struggles but its so goofy im including it
