They haven’t even been here for a year yet. And very little has changed between when they came and now, perhaps less people, but that was a trend from before their time. Also the fact that they have been on onions for half its existence isn’t true but like wtv not the point

There’s been plenty of people coming and going, enough for there to be a subtle shift from ‘old’ to ‘new’. Sure it was a trend already, but it doesn’t change the fact that Tana perceives her times about a year ago as ‘old’.

this is not the menu we always had. It was changed, then reverted because nobody liked it, and then changed again to this.
So also that may be what Tana had meant.
