It’s a world in which humanity overly relies on AI—from their jobs to food production, all of it has been completely automated and things continue to get better. However, while the glocal powers are easily able to gain the upper hand, even allying to take more and get filthy rich, the third-world and poorer countries are oppressed, shunned, and forced into low-paying labor that the AI can’t quite do as they struggle to make enough to even feed themselves.
I imagined people would play an almost terrorist group in opposition to AI, just doin’ stuff in and around some ‘base’ in some poor, overpopulated place.
Depressing, perhaps, but fun?
