Hey guys gimme some feedback on this idea
Spellslinging: by combining a firearm and magic, you can produce a powerful yet unreliable attack. By adding your spellcasting modifier to the weapon’s misfire score, you can shoot a bullet imbued with magic. You can now make an attack roll with either your dexterity or spellcasting modifier, regardless of whether or not the bullet connects, you may make a spell attack. In the event that the spell you are casting requires multiple rolls (I.e magic missile, eldritch ballast, etc) you don’t make any more firearm attacks

So basically you get a free extra spellcast every time you take the attack action with a firearm? It’s really strong, but could be a class feature. The misfire score part doesn’t really work because misfires are solely roll based, so adding (what I’m assuming you meant, not sure exactly) your spellcasting mod to the original number that needs to be rolled to misfire would mean that with +5 spell mod, you roll 1-6 on a d6 to misfire.

Iirc if a weapon has a misfire score of say 12 then if the attack roll is 12 or less the weapon misfires also it would count as casting a spell in the action economy
