Right, but in the remake part of the enchantment was that Ariel forgets that she needs to kiss him. That’s why they needed to change the lyrics to make it clear that he’s asking for her consent.

That’s fun. I just always imagine mermaids as pompous little snots but I haven’t met either so i have no real info. ALSO. ITS SO STUPID THAT URSULA ONLY HAS SIX TENTACLES, but i think whoever did it is probably dead by now, and they did it because they couldn’t fit eight on the screen -_-
