Dunno about that. I appreciate the compliments and all, but to get in the habit of comparing yourself to others is to set yourself up for failure. You are your own worst critic, after all. And your threads and ideas have been awesome — the Afterglow was one of the more original concepts on this site and Button’s Best had fantastic worldbuilding. This underwater tavern is also looking exciting, and everyone’s gonna love it on release.

This thread is part of the problem, but on its own isn’t the issue — it’s the combination of this and all the other chat threads that have gotten the Kitchen so cluttered.
So no, it’s not that I don’t like this thread. I (and other buzzkills like me) just don’t want any more of them.

I’m sorry Nothic but I don’t agree with you. I think chat threads like this one are great. They give people a chance to just hang out and be themselves, take a break from rping (especially for people like me who are too busy with real life stuff right now to get involved in the tavern scene). They’re also a place where people can just talk about D&D: campaigns they’re in or running, products they’ve read or are looking forward to, stuff like that.
I agree we don’t need five or six chat threads going at the same time. Maybe just one or two, like this one and the Support Thread (and of course Anything But the OGL). But I’d be sad to see them all go.
