Would you rather be very very small or very very tall?
Very very tall.
depends on if these are within possibility though, I’m imagining like a slightly less than 5ft adult vs be being like a 7ft adult
the taller you are the more likely you are to develop health problems like back stuff, but I’d much rather be tall than an adult who’s smaller than most teenagers. Smaller humans are also technically more energy efficient I would think

Concept: The world is terrible. A mish-mash of artifice designed without people in mind. People have carved out spaces for themselves in this hellscape, little towns and hovels. Ultra-grimdark, basically. You know the drill.
But here's the twist: The protagonist is a chill dude. Like, super chill. Almost unnervingly so. Immensely kind, but submissive to the world around them.
Then their favorite object, some unidentifiable thing they've held onto since childhood (possibly a pet), is stolen from them.
Thus begins their quest to get it back, using kindness, gratitude, mindfulness, and supernatural horror to make their way through the dangling wires and pools of blood. They may not change the world... but they have a life to get back to, and those in their way find out that this loser is more than they were prepared for.
"Hey, buddy... want some macaroni salad? I know we were fighting and all, but while we're taking a break we might as well regain our strength. It's still cold and everything."
