So, idea: my protag, Gyrs, had a boyfriend in his previous life. This was previously established in my lore docs. But here's something that could be interesting: The boyfriend worked in a god's kitchen. Said god wasn't very powerful due to their culture not being very strong in the area (it was a human god in monster country). One day, the boyfriend failed in his job, and was cursed. The god stole his image and turned him into a monster. Gyrs tried to comfort the still-unnamed boyfriend, but to *literally* lose face like that was unbearable shame. It wasn't long after that the two were caught kissing, and Gyrs took the fall. In the eyes of the spirits, he was a seducer, taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable state and leading them deeper into sin. When Gyrs came back to life over a century later, he had already decided how he was going to avenge his lover: he was going to beat the god at the one thing they were good at. The problem? Gyrs had no cooking skills. This is about where the story would begin, with his backstory being explored later.
