They say time flies when you're having fun, don't they? They say the world is full of wonder. Don't they say to hold onto what you love for as long as you can, as it might slip away? They say all of these, and the impacts of the words are nothing to what they mean. I love DDB, I love all the people on it, all the threads, all the newness. But this post not yet goes out to all the new wonder, but to the long forgotten, forever lost, suddenly dead wonder. To the whimsy that faded away. Fry, DAO was a great thread. Gradius, if you are online today, I want you to know how much I loved The Afterglow. Bullethawk, I've never met you, I've never talked to you. But I've seen the wonder and joy you've made, and to that I raise an imaginary glass. I hope you are doing well in college. Drummer, you are still online sometimes, and you have helped raise up the and uplift the community so much. Agate, yeah you're a chill dude. Same with Salem. Same with so many of you people. A many of you who've left I've left out of this, as I have little space. And it seems I need to keep a promise. A responsibility I asked for. New guys, the ones who read this, it is about time I tell the tale of Jester. He was a backbone of our community, a frequenter of nearly every thread, and he was pushed out. Not by us, and not by his own doing. His parents had decided he shall not be on DDB no more; but he'll be back. Soon; if I'm not an utter fool, next year, when he is an adult. He shall be back. But what is sadder is the people who shall probably stay gone, the people we loved who had to leave; and honestly, good on them. I hope they are all doing great, and I wish only the best for them, 'cause you can't make people stay, but you can hope that they are happy when they leave. That they still enjoy what they like. That they do what they do.
