So I had this idea on how to work cursed energy into dnd and I need some feedback
Cursed Die: All jujitsu sorcerers are born with cursed energy, some more than others and others with special traits to their energy. At start you would roll a d20 to see how much cursed energy you have if you roll a 14 you have 14 Cursed Die (d4 at the start) or you can choose to have 1/2 of the roll to double the size of the die, making it a d8. At the start you can manipulate it two ways outside of your innate technique. Cursed enhancement and Cursed reinforcement. By spending your Cursed Die you can add that much more cursed energy damage to the attack. Say you spend 3 die, then you would add 3d4 (or 3d8) cursed energy damage after the roll but before the outcome. If the attack misses the die are wasted. You can also do the opposite, spending dice to reduce the damage you take from an attack. In the event you spend all of your cursed die, you suffer from cursed burnout, essentially making you a normal person (no more cursed energy usage for 1d4 long rest/days) for a few days

When I was little I watched Planes a lot, it’s still a good movie for little kids I think and a while ago I heard the song Learn To Fly on the radio and after listening to it a couple more times I could’ve sworn I remembered it in Planes, but I looked up the soundtrack and it’s not there.
