What is a Therian?

I have ADHD. I struggle a bit with it because nobody else in my family seems to care that I have it. 

Also, worst combination of two conditions in the world, from my point of view: ADHD and Asthma. I have both. It is hell.

 Oh asthma sucks. I have it too. One time i forgot to use my inhaler before running and i legit couldn’t breathe. It is so terrifying. People don't understand because they’ve never experience how terrifying it is to not be able to breathe. It’s getting better but i keep not doing my inhaler and i should but i don't so that’s fun but its better than it used to be.

 is it like the wind getting knocked out of you but instead of like 2 minutes without air, like 5-8 minutes?

 You can’t take deep breaths while exercising but sometimes you just can’t breathe when it’s especially bad like you can still breathe when you get the wind knocked out of you but you can like not breathe sometimes and if you can it’s like very shallow breaths that don’t get much air

I describe experiencing asthma as, when there is a particular trigger such as exercising hard and in cold air or having an allergic reaction, quite suddenly being unable to breathe properly. Your breaths become shallow and you can't take much air in. If you don't take an inhaler quickly it can get REALLY bad. Luckily I have never experienced such an attack myself.

 Lucky. Normally I can remember to do it before exercising I’ve only had one awful attack *recently at least* but it sucks and I don’t tell many people because they wouldn’t understand or would think I’m incapable of doing anything that’s what annoys me the most the “oh I’m sorry you can’t do that we don’t want to trigger your asthma” SHUT UP IM CAPABLE OF RUNNING

 I have had SOO many of those from my dad.

 Like just because I have asthma doesn’t mean I can’t do things it’s getting better and my inhaler helps control it just because I get tired faster than others with breathing doesn’t mean I can’t do whatever

 Me too. My friend is dyslexic. He is getting better at spelling but struggles with reading a LOT.
