 Isan is annoyed by this. “If I could have told you I would’ve, but I don’t want to anger my family more. Please give it back.” He reaches his hand out for the paper.

 “Hm. I knew it. They’re going to have us compete for the same thing. At least, I think so.”

 "So, the potion and the item are the same thing?"

 “I dunno. I didn’t get a single clue as to what my item was. A little unfair, but maybe if you drink yours it’ll reveal something.”

 "well then lets find it."

Alvize heads off to destroy the windows.

 While Alzire is doing that Slick crafts a dagger.

He runs back in, holding a knife-shaped glass shard and bleeding slightly from his right hand. “I retrieved it.”

 Slick hands him the dagger he made, placing it in his bloody hand and taking glass "I'll sharpen this. Hold that dagger for me."

Alvize takes it warily. “What did yours say? Also, we should try and sabotage the others if possible.”

 Tai has been standing by the door to the workshop. She glances at Alvize's hand. "Um, ar-are you okay?"

“I’ve had far far worse injuries in my life. But I don’t believe I’ve made your acquaintance formally before.”

 "I'm Tai Vulpe."  She holds out her hand to shake.

“Alvize Dalmare. Pleased to meet you.”
