The ghost detector suddenly starts beeping. One beep every 30 seconds.

 “Crap. That’s a lot of ghosts.”

 “No, no. That’s only one. It will double in speed when there is another.”

It doubles in speed, as if on command. “Great. I jinxed it.”

 “2 ghosts isn’t that bad. Though they will be stronger at night.”

 The beeps lower in tone. “Ah. That means an abnormality. Hopefully nothing too bad.”

 “Abnormality is never a good thing.”

 Two ghosts appear at the edge of the iron chain circle. It is a male and a female. They are holding hands. Both are dressed in peasant clothing and have axes embedded in their necks. Their faces are rotting.

 “Ghouls. A couple. A murder I’m guessing.”

 “Looks like they were executed. It’s odd for them to still be together as ghosts. That’s most likely the abnormality.”

*They function as one ghost with extra health*

 “That’s the way it is sometimes.” He draws his rapier init:18

Ghost init: 6

Clu: 18

Clu dashes forward and swings once with his rapier, then he uses the final charge on his lightning rod. Hit: 9 Damage: 8 Slashing. Hit: 16 Damage: 13 lightning.

He uses action surge to activate and deploy a large plate-like device that he slides under the ghost’s feet. It starts to glow.

 The ghost is struck by Clu’s second attack on Henry’s first, but it dodged the others.

It uses its horrifying visage. DC 15 wis save. Clu: 15
