“Ragnerious is being brought to trial for the crimes of grade 12 assault, two accounts, as well as Grade 9 assault, one account, and finally, aiding known criminals, Two accounts. Ragnaris, please describe what happened, According to what you saw.” Abaddon smiles in sadistic glee.
Ragnerious takes a seat "Objection your honor, my accounts of aiding known criminals is something that could be considered justifiable."
“how so?” He raises a scaly eyebrow.
"Once again, anyone with children would understand that protecting ones child is of upmost importance to them. At least where I am from."
”you still committed the crime nonetheless, being their guardian does not make it legal to aid known criminals. Now, Ragnaris?”
"I saw you come and try to take away the people my grandson is responsible for taking care of. Criminals or not, they do not deserve to be cast into the Hells for their misdeeds, and neither does Ragnerious." He snorts, sending large plumes of smoke streaming from his nostrils.
“If they are guilty, which is currently what is believed, they indeed do. Now, please speak about the Assault charges. What did you see?”
He growls. "I saw nothing. I am not a reliable witness, so ask someone else."
As he says this, the noise of his words are somehow silenced. They take 11 hellfire damage. Basically fire damage but slightly different as it doesn’t trigger any fire related effects.
”Rule three.” Abaddon grins.
The fire doesn't seem to affect Ragnaris. He growls louder. "I will never let you condemn him to eternal torture. Even if I have to take his place."
”mm… I’m afraid we cannot do that. If you refuse to explain what happened, and you tried lying about it, then we might have to assume he is guilty.” Abaddon chuckles with glee.
(i love this character so much*
"You are insane if you think I will willingly tell you something that will put my grandson in harms way. Let me make amends for him."
”The Guilty will suffer, not those who want to suffer in place of them. Do you have anything else to add regarding the assaults?”
"No. But you WILL allow me to take his place. This is not up for debate."
(My siblings are about to be f*ckin' murdered. They're actin' like absolute brats. Also, apparently they trashed my room while I was gone this week, so there's that too.)
*well that’s quite rude*
”and why should I agree to this? The guilty one is punished, no one else.”
"Aren't I also guilty? I have committed my very fair share of crimes, not to mention that I just now lied to a judge in court. My crimes outweigh his."
”thank you for bringing that up. If you just took responsibility for those crimes, you shall both suffer. And if you don’t want to be separated, he could volunteer to share your sentence.”
"If you arrest us both I'll start punching people again. I don't want to start punching people again but I will fight my way out of here, I already did it once."

I'm a warlock of the Archcrone, and my patron is TheFriendlyArchfey. I was nicknamed AchatesCervus8337 by VitusW and given the titles "Swashbuckling Scorcher", "The Unpredictable Jedi", "Burning Fury of the Ancients", and "Combustion Knight" by DrummerBoyDragonSlayer.
"If you arrest us both I'll start punching people again. I don't want to start punching people again but I will fight my way out of here, I already did it once."
What's life without a little war to spice things up? Anyone who worries about the little things should notice the bigger picture.
I am (As drummerboy stated) The master of many faces, The unseen puppeteer, The illumination, & The unnoticed influence.

“If you begin punching people again, you will be dealt with and condemned to torture.”
"ENOUGH! He will not be sharing any sentence, nor will he be having a sentence of his own. He is going to walk out of this courtroom, and I am going to escort him out. Do we have a problem?", he asks as his scales begin to glow and heat up.

“Yes, we do.” Two pit fiends manifest in a puff of burning smoke, holding enormous swords. More are on the way, judging by the smoke in the air.
”of course, there is another legal option for you two to get out of this, hmm?”
"I would love to watch you try. Could we please get a guard over here!"

“Sit, Ragnerious!” Screams Abaddon, pointing his Gavel at him.
”what… would that be?” Says the guard.
He holds out his wrists "Please put some cuffs on me. I don't want to make a mistake."

He growls at the pit fiends, and in their minds a voice that could only belong to someone like Ragnaris booms through their consciousness: "BACK. OFF." Ragnaris then turns again to face Abaddon. "And what would that be?"

Reluctantly, he shackles Ragnerious’ wrists. They’re shackles of dimensional binding.
They don’t waver, more appearing every 6 seconds, in pairs.
Abaddon grins an unholy, unnatural smile, like the Grinch.
“Trial by combat,”
"Thank you, I hope to remain safe." He then walks back to the place he was.

The guard looks a bit confused.
