All of the attacks hit, piercing through Astaroth’s armor, but it doesn’t flinch or move out of its monotonous flurry of blows.
opportunity attack: to hit: 18 damage: 41
Abaddon makes a legendary action. Holding out his empty hand, he channels a feeling of burning guilt inside Rag. To hit: 14 fire and the same amount of psychic.
then it’s Abaddon’s turn.
he slams his gavel into the desk, and Rag feels his sins, whether he thinks of them as wrong or not, wash over him and suffuse his very being. He gains a new condition, called Guilty. He has vulnerability to all damage, and he cannot willingly move away from the source of guilt, being Abaddon, which is behind Astaroth.
now it’s Astaroth’s turn again.
to hit: 35 damage: 45
to hit: 28 damage: 41
Mythic action: DC 28 wisdom save or you take 85 psychic damage, half on a success as the guilt begins to overwhelm him.
”well, that’s a surprise. So, what will it be? Fighting for your freedom or eternal torture?”
"I will fight, as long as it means Ragnerious gets to go free."
”he goes free if you win.”
"Very well. Surely we are not fighting here?"
“Of course not. I’ll take you to the arena.” The doors open up at the back of the room, revealing what seems to be… another court room. But at the center of it, with the Judge’s seat overlooking it and hanging over the edge, is a giant arena, with burning black sand making up the ground, blood staining the walls. The crowd makes it’s way to the seats on the edge to overlook the battle, Abaddon and Astaroth at the end of the crowd.
Rag walks into the alternate court room and gets his weapons and armor ready, stancing up.
Abaddon takes a seat as his Judge’s table thing, and Astaroth, spinning his axe in his hands, jumps down into the arena, and hands Rag a bunch of papers as thick as a book before going to the other side of the arena and taking a fighting stance.
”you both need to sign and file that before initiating in physical combat, otherwise neither of us will have any affect on the other.” Abaddon says plainly.
Ragnaris walks over to a puddle of blood, dips the tip of a claw in it, then walks over to Astaroth. He signs the paper with his bloodsoaked claw. He then walks to the opposite side of the arena, spreads his wings, and crouches in a fighting stance.
Rag stands next to his grandfather standing ready, "Grandfather, let me handle the executioner on my own.". Init:16
"I don't like Abaddon's smile. He is hiding something from us. Therefore, I will fight alongside you." Init: 10

"Alright, first, I said genocide is addicting." Can you cut this for me please?
“So you’re addicted to mass murder?…”
"A little bit."
“That is… extremely comforting.”
"Not the usual reaction, but second, you asked me to explain my family tree."
“I was being sarcastic… and yes, please.”
