Three of them understand a fraction of Jason’s power, knowing that he is a monster much more terrifying than they will ever be. The last one standing doesn’t fully understand but isn’t afraid of him. He continues walking. The failures are terrified of Jason for 10 minutes.
He looks at the bridge and the city around him, looking up and muttering something about killing a god in a place that looks like this. He then looks back around staying behind her “So most of the deadly sin, and the richest creature in existence named the most important chain after himself, because that isn’t saying anything out compensating for anything at all.”
All of them are immune to frightened.
”yeah… I mean, he’s absolutely horrible, even for a Devil, but Asmodeus doesn’t care because all devils are at least somewhat evil, and also he brings in more souls than the other eight lords of the first eight layers combined.”
It ignores immunity, because it has to, because everything is seemingly immune to everything. *Sigh*
“Well that sounds pretty annoying. Although anyone that sly must not be as strong as some others, making up for his weakness with intelligence. Knowledge is a powerful weapon indeed. I should get some cardio in soon.”
I suspected so. Jason can hear them leave, all of them, but the mists around him swirl and become even thicker. It’s hard to see.
”well if he’s smart with anything, it’s Money. But he’s still an Archdevil, not really a pushover when it comes to combat. And there’s a park if you want to hang out over there, lots of open space.”
*Sorry, wanna rp on smorg?* Jason decides to just trust his aura to lead the way, doing his best to keep walking and not run into any trees or anything, beginning to eat a second sandwich.
“Well what’s the point of money when you own an entire plane? I don’t really see it, but I’ve never really needed money either.” He picks her up in a princess carry “Point the way.”
*sure!* he runs into a tree. That tree was in fact not there a second ago, he would have sensed it. Weird.
”eh, I think he just likes it because he can have it.” she guides him to an enormous park, mostly resembling a beautiful mortal park, with flowers and trees and paths and a lake at the center. All of the fruits are golden, and so are all of the flower’s petals.
He drops his second sandwich, sighing to himself before really thinking about what just happened. He decides to keep walking to see if it happens again.
“Oh, greed for the sake of greed.” He puts her down once they arrive at the park and begins stretching, his muscles becoming even more visible underneath his clothing as he does so. When he’s finished he begins running, nearly a blur.
He does not run into a tree, he runs into a sheer cliff that, if he hadn’t seen it moments before he got to the edge, he would have fallen down however deep it goes.
she watches him for a bit, before conjuring a picnic for when he gets back.
“Hmm, if my aura works here then my other powers should work here too. Which means it’s time to make a terrible mistake.” He jumps off of the cliff and summons his cloak, hovering down.
When he’s finished he’s completely glistening in sweat, he then flexes and the sweat turns to steam. He sits down at the picnic.
It keeps going, down, down, and down. Eventually, he hears a screeching sound coming from nearby. Then, a few more. Then a chorus of screams as a flock of hundreds of bats fly past him, all with human faces.
The monsters in the mist growl in satisfaction. It seems so lifelike. It’s actually happening in front of him, it seems…
”yeah! There are six other chains as well. That’s called the chain of Avarice. They all hold the city about ten miles above the sinking swamp of Minauros, The third layer.”
He takes a deep breath and fixes his composure “You aren’t me, you will never be me, don’t pretend to be me.” He expands his aura, trying to push the mist creatures back, trying to crush the concept of their very existence. Wis save please.
“Oh so the Chains are named after specific negative attributes. Is there like a chain of wrath or a chain of pride? Also, just curious but how did they get the chains on in the first place?” He stays behind her, not knowing where to go.

She leads him around, eventually stopping at a great bridge, under with there is a river that flows with liquid gold. “Well, most of them are. Chain of Avarice, Wrath, envy, treachery, guilt, and deceit. But the seventh one, at the center of the city, that’s the chain of Mammon. Mammon is the richest creature in existence, he owns the city. And also all of Minauros. I have no idea how they got the chains up there…”

“Well that’s completely terrifying. Why would that exist?” He says just to himself, eventually he decides to stop falling and begins to float to where the other side of the ravine would be.
“I’ll take whatever you have, I’m not picky.” He says, laying down and thinking to himself.

*I can, though I might be in and off. I’m also figuring out how to narratively combine three greater wills into one for the other thread as well*
"Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup."
Characters for Tenebris Sine Fine
RoughCoronet's Greater Wills
*ooh, how interesting. Mephilia, Visk, and Volumdremaak? I’m imagining something like a soul prowler from fool’s gold, a mercury dragon that is controlled by thousands of combined soils*
*That would be a fun thing to try, combining more of my wills together as time goes on. Though it would be a challenge figuring out the domains for every incarnation, since they would only feasibly get 4 at any one time.*
