...is the general art style is now becoming more like what i see at magic the gathering? I mean like, before, D&D art style of sort of moody and dark, maybe not too dark, but semi dark fantasy? I guess? I opened the website here just now and saw an overabundance of smiling characters and a general push towards non-dark themes with how the game is going? Did wizards change their design philosopy ore something? I'm old and dont notice much until I generally stop and look at it directly. I guess im off to unearthed arcana to see what ive been missing in future updates :I

Maybe but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Dark art is cool but D&D 5e (and I guess the new rules revisions) isn’t that dark of a game.
I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
