"I'll definitely take that as a compliment. My cooking is usually awful. To hear that it was better than starving warms my heart. I also have some fresh veggies, but I don't know how to cook them so I left them out." Nothing on or near this table has been heated up or even cut with anything other than a steak knife. Bro is not cooking.
“Fresh vegetables should be boiled if you wish for them to be soft, preferably in salt water, the salt adding flavor. Pepper also helps with the taste. Salt also works as a preservative for most foods, but works best with meats.” He says with the expertise of years doing such.
His eyebrows raise. He wasn't expecting that. "Wow. You know what you're doing, huh? I know how food works, I think, I just don't have the skill to prepare it myself. I'm a very hungry being, you see, and I need constant food or I'll shrivel up and die. Do you think I could order something from you sometime? I'll help you mop up."

He looks him in the eyes “It was a part of my past to know that sort of thing. We never had enough food to feed everyone. So I joined the crusades so my family could live, never looked back, my family wouldn’t have recognized me regardless. I would be willing to help you out I suppose.”

He always is. However, strugels are not endurance hunters like humans, and instead are built for short bursts of speed, so he lags behind, then like a rubber band rushes to Helianth's side, and the cycle repeats.
