*care to roleplay, my friend? I have mother moth and Julius, as usual. Julius is looking for Ghoulianth.*
*Sure, I'd love to! Would you like any other specific characters besides the crooked ghoul itself?*
*either Adeline and Mother Moth or The Groundskeeper and Julius could ehe fun! Whatever you prefer.*
*Sounds great to me! Here you go!*
The crooked ghoul is continuing its wandering accumulation of light and power across the Autumn Country, dining on campfires and candle-flames as it slowly, ever so slowly works its way back to its former stolen divinity.
Adeline has finished sharpening saws for Piecemeal for the time being, and is now sitting beside a small campfire on the outskirts around the Keep of Painted Leaves, watching the hauntingly-beautiful falling snow.
The crooked ghoul feels the wind around them pick up, and it gets warmer- uncomfortably warm, a burning warmth that could scorch their very being, which they’ve felt before. Plants and foliage wither and die in large swathes around Ghoulianth, and new ones sprout in their place in instants, bright and healthy and green. Julius, a shadow in the night sky, approaches.
(actually, I’m going to help my father plant some flowers so I think I’ll only have time for one rp)
(Alrighty! Here's hoping the gardening goes wonderfully!)
The once-divine wretch looks up at the approaching Harvest Prince- they only react slightly to the burning heat, despite their petals catching ablaze. "Hello again, your majesty." It starts, quietly hoping that he hasn't come here to kill it. "What seems to be the matter?"

If Julius didn't have the death angel's attention before, he certainly does now. "I would very much like that, yes. I can tell you're here to make a bargain... what it is I need to do to get my strength back?"

It seems surprised, staggering back slightly at his words. "That's what happened to it? It spawned a terrible beast?.. This is worse than I could have imagined..." For the first time, Julius sees the god-eater genuinely afraid. "...Should that thing find its way into Ghulheim, it'll burn every corpse it finds there and grow stronger... it would ravage everything it finds. I don't think I can do that... but perhaps there is some other way we can stop the beast."

he pauses, looking down. The intense heat of his gaze produces embers, which land on the dry, dead grass and start small fires.
”if you have any ideas, I am open to them. I was hoping that, once in Ghulheim, Queen Amina might be able to deal with the creature- but you are right. We have… a few hours until my bargain with it ends.-… I had made a deal with it, that I’d figure out a way to get it to Ghulheim in two days and it would spare Autumn Country-… but we just need it gone. In any way possible.”

"Agreed- as long as that thing has all of my power in its clutches, none of us are safe. You're right, Queen Amina might have a way of helping bring it down... but perhaps it could be starved. Trapped somewhere with nothing to feed upon, it would grow weaker. It might even begin to devour itself, if it gets desperate enough."
