"May I see him?" She asks politely. "I may be able to convince him to give you some freedom."
Sirius sighs and pulls out a crystal from his pocket, a smooth blue one with red bands. He crushes it in his fist as the dust suddenly forms a sparkly blue and red image of a large owlin man in rainbow robes of feathers. He blinks to life, looking down at his son before turning towards the woman. "Well well well... I know you."
"Hiiiiiii~!" She giggles, sing-song. "It's me, Tantalia! Remember when I ate your favorite executioner's face? Or did your guard captain cover that up? She was always afraid of repercussions." She sighs, then clears her throat. "My court is in need of a healer, and I'm sure your son would gain great experience in the position, at least until he can take your place."

The King sighs and punches the brow between his eyes, the boney beak of his face. "What do you plan to gain? I know you too well to just give him up when you have a tone like that. You seem to gain something by using him."

She puts her hands on his shoulders, somehow touching him through the illusory communicator. "Oh, I just think he's pretty, and I want to keep him around. Don't worry about it. I know that kidnapping him would be an act of war, and I wouldn't have called you if I wanted that." She grins. "But I could do it, if you really wanted me too. You'd never have to see your son again. Plus, you'd have a chance at my glorious lands."

"What makes you think I want to get rid of him? This boy will be my death so I can finally die! I want him around so that prophecy can be fulfilled!" He chuckles and tilts his head "Hmm, I'll tell you what.. if you train him for my death, you can have him."

"Oh, of course. I'd never get in the way of your untimely demise. I'll train him in the Sugarplum arts personally." She turns to Sirius. "Now doesn't that sound fun?"

She walks behind him, massaging his shoulders. "What an ass. What a rotten, pathetic excuse for a bird he is. Do what you will. What's mine is yours, and what's yours is yours."
"Tell me, how was it that you wound up in the woods again?" She asks, sounding faintly curious.

"I- I was trying to walk back to my... my home before now... but I got lost. I walked through a fey crossing, not knowing it was there... and didn't know how to get back. Thankfully, I found the sanctuary, and... Mother Moth found me soon after. I truly believe it was a miracle that brought me to her." She recounts her tale with clear reminiscence in her tone, though she is still very wary.
"And why, pray tell, were you so far from home?" She leers.
The moth is silent for a long while, clearly trying to recall what happened next, but... "I... I... can't... remember that..." Confusion and doubt begin to extend their roots into her mind once again. "Every other detail, I recall, but..." She looks back up at the Queen with noticeable reluctance, noting her expression. "...You know something, don't you?"

Carnival sleepwalks over and sits down, listening to the music.
'Ah, hello there'. Feuerstein scratches the chin of one of the pigeons
"Hi..." she murmurs. "How're you?"
(I'm assuming this takes place in the only established town on the thread: Cane on the Water, a candy-making town with a river running through it. It's a nice place for an RP.)
