"The town as of now is New Gladereach, after the old Gladereach that was once there. There's been quite a few changes recently- our leader, the Grand Architect, has large ambitions for that place. I, along with others of the clergy of the All-Knowing Orb, was sent to spread the good word, so to speak."
"Ah yes, a missionary must have a faith." He pauses to think about this for a moment. "I have many questions. How did this change come about? Who is the Grand Architect? What are the tenets of your faith and who or what is the All-Knowing Orb? Come, we can discuss these matters over tea." He leads you out of the throne room and into an adjacent antechamber. This room is bare of any furniture but a thick, exquisitely woven carpet is laid out upon the floor and several cushions are laid about for your comfort. The Tayr sits crosslegged before you and summons a servant bearing a tray of tea as well as a bowl of exotic nuts.
The missionary sits across from him. "I will do my best to answer any and all questions you have. The changes came about when we unearthed the All-Knowing Orb during a mining operation, and they awakened once we freed them. The Orb became our leader- Grand Architect Jeeves- and it is through their guidance and planning that we have grown Slateport into the thriving town it is today. As the Book of Bronze says, 'We found our god in the stone, and in the stone we shall find our god's greatest tools'." They pause, taking a small sip of tea. "Our faith is mostly centered around three core tenets: 'Knowledge is the greatest tool and the greatest gift', 'Make friends first, make enemies last', and 'The past is our greatest mentor'- all from the Book of Bronze, of course. The All-Knowing Orb, of course, takes all three of these tenets to heart, as do we."

At the mouth of Tsaritsa River, where the delta it forms spills into the Aluplela Sea, a new, small town lies. No more than three months earlier, the city was run by a select few. They ran the city corruptly, where the rich got richer and the poor get poorer. One man could not stand this. A young, blind man by the name Paracelsus Domino. He was poor and had no power, the very definition of a nobody. But he was loud, and when he spoke, people listed. He called for change, for revolution. He called for a society where wealth does not sperate us, and the common man has as much power as those with seemingly endless wealth. The turned the city upon its head, throwing rocks through the windows of the rich, rounding them up and placing them all in the town square. He and his best friend Octavio Versace set the city on a path for change. They destroyed the system that only benefited the rich and gave the power to the people. The town known as Enimea is no more. Now stands the Republic of Ravela

Far east on the map sits a rather volatile set of mountains, well known for their strange ability to restructure themselves and morph at a whim. Rocky, cold, and practically unlivable, somehow a single town has managed to exist within the wastes. Named Rhagoan in its natives’ language, it has managed to stabilize a certain portion of the land enough to build a permanent residence.
The people of this territory are strange, consisting of three main humanoid species - a centaur like beast with its animal half varying wildly from different species, an automaton steampunkish robot, completely sentient, and made up entirely of alien metal, and a more humanoid group with curling goat horns, a short tail, as well as lifted feet, as if they walked solely on their toes.
Rhagoan is a mostly militant mining and livestock town, with a unique structure of government and living conditions. Because of the lack of space, most of its residents take to living in the places they work in, maximizing efficiency. While there is no official ruling body, most of the organizing work is done by the town sheriff, or madjai. Rhagoan uses military regiment style training to keep its citizens in peak condition, though serious fights and entering conflicts are considered to be uncultured. Every citizen knows their way with a weapon, and are required to serve (as one would do in jury duty) every other year. The duty of the Rhagoan military is to defend the shepherds from predators, as well as go out on hunts to drive away local predators from the town’s radius.

A hooded courier of sorts approaches, the cloven hooves of their mount clopping softly against the path. They appear to be dressed for winter, with a thick white cloak and simple brass jewelry, dark oil marks under the eyes. It looks to be a sort of goat or oxen centaur, the beast half being relatively tall and shaggy with a shorter bobtail and wrapped cloth serving as a blanket. Tassels and other foreign designs cover their outfit, a leather satchel slung across the shoulder.

*it does have a mine, but I was thinking merchant. ships built for giants can fit a lot more than ships built for regular people, and there's probably some neat stuff really far north the other kingdoms want. also I just love trade cities*

"Of course- though, this is the only copy I have on hand at the moment." They reply, unhooking the clasps on the book that kept it hanging on their belt, before handing the tome to him- it's a somewhat small book, bound in leather with a bronze ring emblazoned on the front. "This is a smaller copy, more suited for travel, though it still holds every word of the original text. If you'd like, we could deliver a standard size tome to the palace." Another pause as they take another small sip of tea. "As for your second question, very All-Knowing. Though they're not quite to the point of complete omniscience- not yet, at least- they know many things about this realm and its history."

*perhaps a city that focuses on blacksmiths because frost giant weapons are of high quality or something that way you get both a luxury item to trade and it ties into your mining*

STATS:
Name: Rhagoan
Size: Town (3,000-10,000)
Troops: 1 (5)
Military Power: 10
Government: Republic
Lower Class/Upper Class: Wealthy
Buildings:
- Quarry (+2 wealth)
- Market (+2 wealth)
- Large Inn (+2 wealth)
- Crafter
- Barracks (+2 recruitment power)
- Castle (+4 military)

He flips through the pages a moment before handing it back, "I would like that very much." He finishes his tea and pours himself another cup full from the teapot. "I would very much like to come to meet your Grand Architect. We seem to share the same belief of making friends over enemies. Will you please return to your kingdom and tell your lord that I would be honored if I were allowed to come visit your court?"
