 He takes the hand “I hope you’ve been taking care of yourself, at the end of the day I am your doctor and your friend.” He smiles at them, “I would love to see whatever you’ve got.”

 The vine around their ankle pulls them up, and Cody along with. They enter a simple little natural pocket in the leaves of the tree, which Hope has decorated in their own unique style. Fairy lights hang from above, and a small chest sits to the side. Small, rudimentary furniture that looks very curvy and natural grows out of the tree here. 

 He looks around the place before smiling “A nice little hide away, don’t know why you’re showing me, could’ve kept this hide out to yourself and I would’ve never known.” He sits down wherever he can.

 “Well that would mean I’d have nobody to share it with.” They kick the chest open, revealing several board and card games.

 “Have you told anyone else yet, or am I in the exclusive club?” He says with a chuckle, checking out the games they’ve got.

 UNO, a normal deck of cards, poker chips, some d6s etc “Gonna rob me blind?”

 “Absolutely not, I have nowhere I would go.” He says jokingly, letting them pick what we play first.

 Makana spots a boy, looking somewhere between 16-18, quickly dash for the treeline. He looks afraid, eyes narrowed with a steely focus, a torn up backpack slung across his back. He’s got two visible knives, a snapped longbow, and a crowbar visible on his person. His clothes are torn, and the boy looks to be bleeding from a cheek wound as well as a knee injury.

 Makana starts following nearby him, while trying to get a look what he may be running from "Are you okay?? Whats behind you?"

 They are remarkably unperceptive, but manage to spot a single, very light footprint in the mud. They can’t tell how fresh it is, but it does seem to be in the direction of the woods.

 "hunh." deciding they have nothing better to do, they follow the footprint

 The woods are quiet, besides the sound of ambient wildlife. He sees a slight blood trail, leading into the bushes. Investigation check.
