Liam has found his way to the library, and is reading up on the art of fishing, trying to ignore that he’s turning to stone.
“Did they give you any tips?” She asks, slamming one of the books shut in frustration
“Any strain makes the petrification faster, so I’ll have to stop swimming and things for now.” He sits down next to them.
She gets up and goes over to him, hugging him from behind over the shoulders. “We have no leads here. The only Greek monsters that can petrify are the gorgons.” She buries her face in his hair.
He wraps his arms around them, holding them and rubbing their back, “Is there a cure for a gorgon’s gaze? That may be what I need.” He tries to comfort her, though he’s just as worried he’ll lose her.
