*well, I could, but Elijah has encountered a total of one monster in his life before camp (the cutscene would be a flashback because he’s out on a quest right now) and that encounter, with an Empousa, was literally just him seeing the thing, her trying (and failing) to charm him, and then him getting out of there. I could make an Empousa… maybe I could write about that encounter, though…*
