Lemon limps out from the mist- covered in blood and scratches, their eyes flashing wildly back and forth, lanky limbs full of wounds...
“Lemon, are you okay?”
"H-help... It's almost here... run... Evan... run..."
He holds his hands out, crackling with lightning. “I can fight.”
A buzzing sound eminates from the forest, like a swarm of angry insects...
"No... no no no... RUN!"
“You go first.” Evan grabs Lemon’s shoulder and starts pulling him along.
"No... NO!"
Lemon starts to convulse, insectile limbs growing from them, a myriad of eyes blinking open...
“WHAT THE- (GP) (GP) (GP)!”
The creature rises from the ground, mandibles hissing, eyes glowing an eerie blank white, as the buzzing gets louder, surrounding Evan's ears, digging into his brain, tearing at his thoughts, preventing him to focus, all there is is the buzzing, the buzzing is all.
“Help-me.” He gasps.
"There is no help... ther is only the end... the eternal sleep..."
The creature walks closer, all siz arms growing sharp and pointy.
“Please…”
"Sleep... sleep... sleep... Sleep."
Quickly, three arms strike out, stabbing Evan.
21 Damage: 7
6 Damage: 13
9 Damage: 7
Evan closes his eyes, and a pair of dove wings sprout on his back, crackling with electricity. The wings, moving of their own accord, fly into the sky. Evan looks nauseated, but he can’t control the wings. He floats into the sky.
The insectile horror screams out, but... as far as Evan goes... the accursed buzzing continues to assult his ears... there is no escape.
His face is turning green, and he starts to dry heave. The pain of flying is distracting him.
The noise continues...
The wings carry him away, but he keeps heaving.
The noise still floods his ears, clinging to them like glue.
He cries out, landing to the ground, and finally noticing the noise.
It pierces his mind like a spear, rooting up distant memories and fears...
