Elijah is at Hermes cabin, sorting his dozens of friendship bracelets and picking which ones to wear today.

A familiar face slinks in the shadows towards the woods of camp... Leslie Adams. Although, her face has lost her tan, veins visible through her skin, and chunks of fabric and flesh are missing, through the window, Elijah can still recognize her fiery eyes.

 Elijah sees Leslie and at first, almost doesn’t register the fact that anything is amiss. But then he realizes. He remembers.

Elijah bursts through the door of Hermes cabin to follow Leslie. He doesn’t know what’s going on, he’s confused, and a little bit scared, but he can’t just be seeing things… and he just saw Leslie.

Footsteps retreat into the woods.

 Elijah pauses, taking a deep breath, before following the sound of footsteps into the woods

Leslie is walking through the woods, eyes darting into the shadows, as if Invisible eyes watch her. Chunks of skin and cloth are remove from her clothes, as if torn off by a vacuum cleaner.

 Elijah freezes when he sees her. For a few moments, he’s silent. Then, he speaks.

”…Leslie?”

She stumbles backwards, eyes wide.

"No... No no no... This isn't how it's supposed to go... No... No..."

 His eyes widen as well, but unlike Leslie, he stays still. Very still. “…Leslie- how- what-…” he doesn’t seem to be breathing.

"I.... Elijah... Elijah are you okay..?"

 He doesn’t respond to that, only managing to whisper, “…Leslie- you’re… d-dead-…”

“No. I wasn’t dead. Only one of me died. The other was at the laboratory where my mother improved me so it wouldn’t happen again. Until some other campers killed her, and I became free.”

 “W..w-what is that s-supposed to mean?” He stutters.

"I... Elijah. You are right. My body died. But, my mother, in all her wisdom, created multiple of me, so that she could experiment and refine her minion. That quest was my test run. I failed, but gained experience. When I died, my consciousness, my thoughts, my desires, my wants, all those things, they died alongside my body as well. I am a new person now, still inside a copy of the first vessel."

 He just… doesn’t know how to respond to that. He’s breathing shallow, shaky breathes, and trembling slightly. He takes a step forward, wanting to say something but unsure of how to respond.

“… What is it…?”

 “I-… sorry-…” he stumbles back. “I-I- just-“ he pauses again.

“Can’t b-believe you’re back… here… I-in front of me…”
