 "Well... I can't exactly rely on magic all the time. It is rather... volatile." He lifts his arm revealing faint scars throughout.

"God dang it. I'm sorry. I've just been thinking about my sister and now I'm seeing her in my dreams and maybe astral projecting, and Monday I woke up literally falling from the sky and I haven't had coffee in a week and now I'm tearing myself apart over something she might have said as a joke!"

 She nods, running a finger along their scars, before patting their shoulder “Do you want help training your body then?”

 “I am here for you, I don’t think I can do much, but what I can do is listen and try to help. If you’re ever falling out of the sky again I’ll make sure to catch you, and maybe you should have a cup of coffee, it’ll help dull the withdrawal effect.”

 He tries to lean away from her she pats him. "Yes. That would be appreciated."

She puts her head in her hands, takes a deep breath, and sighs. "Thanks Cody. It's hard going from a somewhat normal life to this, and then having it uprooted by the... loss. And my dad finally claiming me after 4 years. Thanks for having my back."
