The Boiling Isles 

 Welcome to the Boiling Isles! This is a land far from our own, one that the witches and demons call their home. Built on the body of a decomposing titan, every myth and legend we have here in the human realm is caused by a little of their world leaking into ours. But not everything on the Boiling Isles is unicorns, and rainbows. From the Slitherbeast that lives on the wilderness of the knee, to the fairies that roam the cities, to the terrifying Snaggleback, the creatures of the Boiling Isles pose a significant threat to its inhabitants. But the magic of Isles seems to make it all worth the risk…

——————————————————————————————The Magic of The Island

 The Boiling Isle's magic used to come from its titan, the body still filled with ancient magic. Ancient witches used to use magic using four primary glyphs to communicate with the titan’s magic. The glyphs of fire, ice, plants, and light, were used to manipulate the magic around them, and if used in the right combination, can produce any magic. Eventually, witches evolved to use a bile sac attached to their heart to manipulate and use their magic. By drawing circles in the air, they can create any spell. There are 9 primary types of magic; Bard, Beast Keeping, Potion, Plant, Illusion, Healing, Oracle, Abomination, and Construction. Even after the destruction of Emperor Belos’s Coven system, many schools still continue the tradition of teaching magic in individual tracks, although students can take multiple tracks at once.

Though the titan is now dead for good, his magic gone, his son, King Clawthorne, is figuring out a new system of glyphs that respond to his magic.

 The two main races on the Boiling Isles are witches and demons. Witches are humanoids that have magic bile sacks attached to their hearts allowing them to do magic. Demons can be put in three categories: Biped, Beast, and Bug. Occasionally, there have been humans on the Isles, but such a thing is rare.

 There are multiple schools on the Boiling Isles, such as Glandus and Hexside, and the newer school of Wild Magic, taught by Headmaster Edalyn Clawthorne. If you're interested in sports, there's a flyer derby team run by THE Willow Park, or if you're interested in a more aggressive sport, school-run or professional Grudgy. 

 If you need a palisman, talk to Hunter, who can carve one just to your standards. If you're interested in the history of the Isles, check out the Museum, run by the curator Lilith Clawthorne. And if you're in need of something a little more… illegal, check out the night market. 

 With even more spread across the Isles, there's always something to do…
