High pitched chitters sing out the phrase over and over.

The veteran is standing, arms out, on a pile of infested bodies in an alley. Members of numerous local gangs who had been especially violent and had kill counts in the double digits. The corpses are chained down and smell of blood, rot, and filth.

The voices come from the bugs all throughout the alley, scurrying to get a bite of the human flesh.
"QUI?! FUNISTRADA! LE ROI! LE ROI! LE ROI!"
On the face of the vet is a grin so wide that it hardly fits on his face. His hands are dripping in fresh blood.
A small child goes to inspect the scene of carnage, trying to harvest some of the flesh for himself
The vet gently pats the boy on the shoulder. "This belongs to my friends. I'll get you some food of your own if you'd like."
'What else want to know? Tall dude, thin, big long arms, talk about angels a lot'
"Angels?"
'Oh no... probably wasn't meant to say that. What about you? What you do here?'
"Eh, plot mass murder, now... angels????"
'Mass murder? Sound... interesting'
