Assuming that it’s now my turn, I’ll make 2 attacks on the eggs.
Attack 1: 16 to hit, 8 damage
Attack 2: 25 to hit, 11 damage
If either hits, I do 5 extra damage and regain as much. Assuming my thing’s still active, I’ll run through the eggs to get out of immediate harm, and bonus action get into a shadow and become invisible (while in dim light or darkness, I can cast invisibility without expending a spell slot.)
