Hihi. Not feeling at my best currently and I'd like to get into the writing flow. I know not a lot of people here write very long, but I kinda do want to. Anyone can join this thread, this is just tranquil rp. If you'd like I can give you some tips for description (not for making better characters because I'm awful at making characters) but uhhhhhh if you can match my length I'd love that. Work out some plots with your partner beforehand, or not, any setting is fine just make sure to be clear where it is with the people you're roleplaying with. As usual, no NSFW, be respectful, and like... the other stuff. If it comes to combat, choose a ruleset (you can just choose who wins beforehand and roleplay out the fight), and make sure the person you're roleplaying with consents to combat. Oh final rule, have fun. I know I forgot a few rules but you can like check my other rp threads for the base rules I usually add and assume they apply here.
Sorry kinda long yammer, but I'll post some characters I want to use in my next post.
Some characters I want to use: Salt, cold and detached demon general. Gale, demon descendant pirate who really prefers to go with the flow in an "I hate life" way. Also I have like 5 million warrior cats OCs if anyone wants to rp that but uhhhh yeah. Lemme check if I have anyone else I'd like to use, someone friendlier.
"The whisper of the sea calls to me. Every day, every night, every breath I take leads me closer and closer there. It is my lifeblood, my peace."
Gale huffed, remembering the words he had spoken long ago. The sea may have been a refuge, but it was never his peace, and it never would be. But still, he kept being called there, like the old days. Today he leaned against a small ramshackle building by the bay, flipping a silver coin in his hand. A simple steal, one he would use to buy a piece of bread tonight. A few people stopped to watch the impressive display, but when he glared at them, they quickly turned away. Gale ran a bony hand through his hair, it was rather oily. He knew he smelled of salt and vinegar, but he had gotten over the scent. It had stuck with him for years, and now he barely noticed it.
Gale was a tall young man-not as manly as he wished he would be, but he passed fine enough, despite not having any facial hair. He happened to be a demon descendant, but that was all too common around these parts. His skin was a deep gray blue, and a pair of sharp horns protruded from his forehead, sticking out of locks of blue hair the color of the deepest seas. Dark, hopeless eyes flashed around, staring longingly at the massive galleon in the bay. But he could never go back to sea. He was bad luck. And although nobody knew why he was bad luck except him, they had surely figured it out already.
*note I will be playing a character I just recently developed, and I rolled a legitimate 3 for an ability score, and plopped it down on intelligence.*
I ran like six at once once, I think I can handle two. Although I am never doing six at once again.
Wait that's actually hilarious... four ones... Okay :) I think it would be really funny if they encountered one of my really depressed characters and I dunno what would happen but yeah

"I wish I could be there forever..."
A small creak from above him betrays the presence of a person on top of the Shack. As they look up, he sees a small, stout person who stands wearing a black cloak that entirely covers their body, other than their arms and legs. Their arms and legs are firmly muscled and covered in more scars than unmarred skin. The same is with their arms, except that part of their left arm is missing, a chunk out of the bicep. And as you stare upwards, their head turns downward, but the only thing you can see are bright, orange eyes that betray a life of hardship and tragedy. Their body appears to be masculine, but as they speak while looking at you, their voice is quite feminine
"What brings you here?"
And they speak, they praise the words just differently, as if the language had changed since they learned to speak.

His head jerked up immediately, his heart starting to pound. He took a deep breath after the person spoke, and then let out a rough chuckle. It seemed like he hasn't spoken in a long time-well, he hasn't, but he's good at talking. Plenty good.

"Gale! Help me! GALE!"
