Yuki walks and cuts the air with her hand and dissappears through the cut air, reappearing at a random location.
*Anyone can choose where she ends up.*
It’s night. The waves crash against a beach so pale gray it looks silver, and the moon shines down high in the sky, obscured by canopies of black plants. Purple berries hang from the plants, and the moon, which was already blotted out, is covered by a vulture, who lets out a single cry and then flies towards something in the distance. In the air, you smell poison and rot. And oddly enough, there are signs around you saying things like “dangerous, get away!” Melancholic music drifts through the air in the same direction that the vulture went.
As Yuki follows the vulture, an aura of calm surrounds Yuki.
The island seems to resist the calm, but Yuki feels the pull of the music, it’s calm as well, peaceful.

Yuki follows the music to the source.
A lone person sits on a rock in the middle of the island, playing a lute. Vultures flock around them, and as the lute is played, it releases the smell of death and decay, which the vultures seem attracted to, despite the absence of carcasses. Without turning around, they stop playing the lute, and the vultures fly away. “Did you not see the signs?”

At its centre, an old god reawoke. Ren, the nine-tailed fox goddess, yawns, stretches, blinks her eyes sleepily, and looks around at her domain.
