In my world, magic comes from either A) The shattered power of an ancient deity or B) the collective belief that spells will work if you just get the hand movements right.

my worlds magic is:

the lay lines:   power harnessed by the good and their chosen (Warlocks, cleric’s, paladins, druids and rangers) beings like fey, gods and Eldrich beings access this

the Power gems: gems that allow magic to be channeled. Used in spell casting focuses

the dragons blood: after the gods got sealed after the dragon god war the dragons took some of the gods blood to enhance their power to take over the duties of the gods

Short yap session for myself to get back into the flow. This will make sense to very few because this is just for me, but feel free to ask questions cause I’m bored.

The Rose Era: 

Tyvern was the land of vampires in Tarran. During the time of the war against Mythicals, Tyvern was in its Rose Era, led by the Rose Dynasty. The eight orders that protected the land from vampires were merged as one, to fight against the foreign Mythicals. Citizens were evacuated to the capital city where most of the guns were being produced, but the trails along the way were bloodbaths and many opted to stay in their villages to fight and hide. After the victory went to the humans, there was an era of reconstruction. The Queen of Tyvern passed of old age during the war and her sister, the General, was killed in battle. They searched far and wide for a rumored heir, the son of the General, and eventually found her son, who had been turned into a vampire. The prince was still in his right mind, and commanded a regent to take his place while his soldiers searched for a cure. No cure was found, and the regent, a power hungry woman, had the prince executed, putting the world into an era of “peace”. The new Queen, Queen Rose, ordered a widespread hunt of Mythicals around the country, and had all the ones that were caught brutally executed. The Queen’s Army, which the Orders had been renamed to, found a few spies from the Abyss as well, who under threat of execution, revealed that angels had fallen from the heavens and into the Abyss. The spies were executed anyway despite the crucial information they revealed, and Queen Rose searched for the angels, trying to use their power for herself. The Rose Dynasty ended with the granddaughter of Queen Rose, after the last two had been poisoned by the Abyss, who turned the country into a democracy again.
