I still post a decent amount, just not on taverns since I've stopped rp'ing on them. Honestly I can't remember the overall quality level of taverns when TSF dropped (which was the last time I rp'ed here), so it was either that or me just getting burnt out.

 To add my two cents, I think it’s the lack of people willing to rp seriously which leads to people not wanting to make threads. The reason I stopped making threads (which was probably the start of me soft quitting) was because I felt that there was no point in making something, because it needed to be at a certain level of quality, but people would rp for only a few days before getting bored and dropping it. And I’m certainly not exempt from this behavior either

Actually, I wanted to elaborate my feelings on quality of RPing and note that it also applies to basic conversations. If you don’t have something to say, don’t just reply with ‘yeah’ or ‘I agree’. We don’t really need to know all the time…? Conversations have also just begun to feel repetitive and formal to me because people refuse to talk about anything for fear of offending others.

In the average conversation I have, both parties ask the other how they’re doing, reply ‘fine’, one says something, the other replies ‘yeah’, and that’s the ballgame.

I know. It's you sometimes. It's also a lot of other people. And Link. I care what you think. But the way my brain works is that I automatically assume the best of you. So you could post that you hate queer people and I would: First ask why. And second get along with banning you.

Advice that baalze gave me a while back for rping but it works very well in here and IRL.

It's the 'Yes, and' principle. Which means that  you say yes and then say and. Which means that you've agreed and then built apon it. If you can't do this then it's probably not worthwhile to post at all.
