Protest whatever you want here! It can be related to ddb, not related to ddb, related to ddb only by marriage (idek wut im saying at this point don't pay attention to that)

Why does signing up for so many things require a phone number for verification? I mean, sure, they don't want people to go off making tons of accounts, or just make an account for someone else, but still. I was trying to help my sister make a google account, and it's like "Give us your phone number so we can verify that you aren't a robot."  why can't google just do the easy thing and put a !$@&?%# reCAPTCHA?? So many more people would have so much less trouble with this if they just used a captcha. Not everybody has rich/nice enough parents to have a phone at age 8 or stm like that. Sure, you could just use your parent/sibling's phone number, but that would also require you to contact them MULTIPLE TIMES just to get ONE code that you are going to use ONCE. GOOGLE PLEASE CHANGE THIS FOR MY SANITY'S SAKE.

Why the actual hell does my phone call itself? It kills my data and distracts me from whatever I’m doing, and it happens like every other day.

 I text myself when I'm bored. also that's probably cause of a wierd glitch, or you butt dial yourself somehow.

 I think someone is doing a similar phone number and spamming me.

Why the $&"/ does DDB need you to pay a $#!+ton per month for using others hb and custom maps! Seriously Hasbro needs to chill on capitalism! Why can't they add it as a base feature?!

That way, they can make enough money to keep DDB alive and maintained for us youngsters without the money to pay for books. /j

In reality, Hasbro’s a big, producing company, and Wizards is their branch. If things became free here, Hasbro would take notice—as well as others, and there’d be some questions asked. Finally, it is still product that they are selling—digital product, sure, but product nonetheless.

For Google accounts, I think it’s less for robots and more for just verifying that you are you and not making an account for anybody else or that you’re not trying to hack someone’s account. Correct me if I’m wrong.

That could work, but phantom touches due to damage and/or telemarketing are possible (they can change what number it shows up as for you).

Gentrification.

Been happening under every president. A national issue we need to fix. I say this as an upper-middle-class Caucasian child who was one of the first gentrifiers in our neighborhood.

 It may also be based on the fact that I have a global E-SIM, and because of that, a European phone number for some reason.
