I am going to say either Fenris the Feared or Bayaz from the First Law books by Joe Abercrombie.
Technically these ViLlAiNs count as there was a brief run of a comic strip from the books, which sadly ended.
The Feared is a giant which is impervious to harm on one half of his body, and wears impossibly heavy armour on the other. His face is constantly twisting and shifting, and he gives of an aura of fear which terrifies all who look upon him.
Bayaz is the undeniable villain of the books, because he is an arch manipulator who twists the world to their own ends. He can also vaporise people with a thought, so he's not only terrifyingly intelligent and politically powerful, but physically powerful too.
