The rise and fall of the chests of the injured slow out and stop.

Blank eyes stare up at the sky. 

A war is here, a war nobody will ever win.

A few years ago, the new land of Phrojix was discovered, and four kingdoms went to war over it. The north was quickly claimed by Toren, the civilization of dragon riding-although apparently against the dragons’ wills-warriors. The south by Varenemi, the civilization of witchcraft and necromancy. The east was claimed by the Descenders, angels who came down from the very heavens to claim the land for their divine leader-or at least that’s what they claimed. The west was claimed by the Crawlers, a group of demons from the pits of the abyss. The groups quickly encroached into each others territory, spiking up many disputes.

All of this left the natives of Phrojix displaced, and many others were enslaved and taken to Phrojix. These people chose to join kingdoms for their own survival, as many of their friends and family had been killed in the taking of Phrojix.

This tavern is loosely inspired by some historical events, but I’d prefer that not be talked about in the thread. Each of the kingdoms can be claimed by a leader, please let me know your character, what you want to do with the nation, why you’d be a good fit, and the culture of the nation in PMs or on the thread if you’d like to be a leader. Leaders will also figure out how the kingdoms will be organized, so if you’d like there to be multiple leaders or different rankings, please put that in your request to be leader. There may be a discord server for this as well, but they will remain separate canons.

Citizens/regular soldiers can use any stat block up to CR 5 and any level up to level 10. Leaders can go up to CR 15 or level 20. Any of these roles can choose to rebel, so this can be risky. Characters in between citizens and leaders must be approved by the leader, and new roles must be approved by mods. (For now just me.)

 Only character sheets can have magic items. Leaders can have 1 legendary, two very rares, three rares, five uncommons, and infinite commons. Regular citizens can have one rare and two uncommons.  No artifacts. Wish spell is not allowed unless it is to cast a spell of 8th level or lower. 

 You do not have to fight to be in this thread 🙂‍↕️ it is an at war RP, but if you’d like to just say who won and call it a day (if both people are consenting) that’s completely alright..
