Hello all!
Thought I'd make a thread for people to share what poetry they have written, and to commentate on one another's!
I'll go first, because I have poems I want to share!
The Grin:
Once a man, upon a whim
decided to grin the grinniest grin
first it stretched from ear to ear
then it stretched from ‘ere to ‘ere!
from there it went from wall to wall
which didn’t stop it, not at all!
it burst the walls and stretched some more
down the hall and out of the door
down the garden and across the road
across to where the neigbour mowed
and chop-chop-chop, the grin was trimmed
and the man was left with saggy skin.
but do not fear that he was doomed;
he found employment as a balloon.
Check my stuff on DMs Guild!!
DrivethruRPG Releases on This Thread - latest release: My Character is a Dragon - balanced rules for 5e and 5.5e!
I have started discussing/reviewing D&D content on Substack - stay tuned for semi-regular posts!
