It's nearly impossible to be invincible for an entire amount of time, unless just having absurd AC or something. Also AC is no problem to me. As I have a little thing called boon of combat prowess :D

I think that it's kinda unfair to ban a spell after we rolled initiative, if you want to change rules we'll quickly restart and let him have time to change his character. Besides, Invincibility isn't that strong, I doesn't stop me from say... Suffocating them, or killing them in a myriad of ways. Or you can just stall until the spell runs out.
Be sure to set your feet in the right place, then stand firm.
