I feel like retribution would be better for a god tho? Cause vengeance is done for a wrong done to them, and retribution is simply a wrong. Could be like the justice system or smth. But sure 🤷

Devotion is the child of two gods - Heartbreak and another, but Devotion does not know who their other parent is. however, he feels less godly than the others as they are without a true form. (He may also feel less godly for being born from two parents, rather than one perfect rebis)
Devotion cares deeply for Heartbreak, and will do anything they ask. Devotion is the most emotionally kind of the gods, but because they will do anything that Heartbreak says/asks(though they don’t enjoy it), they’re still morally questionable.
Devotion is often seen wearing smart clothes like suits and stuff, but if their parent asks them to, they will wear dresses/skirts etc…(though they are comfortable in anything tbh). They look almost completely human, and Devotion is never seen without a rose in their black hair, to pay respects to their parent‘s previous domain as the god of love.
Almost all of the gods appreciate Devotion because devotion is the God that encourages mortals to worship/follow the gods. Very few gods dislike devotion, with the exception of Disdain(who doesn’t like Devotion encouraging mortals to follow them) and Valor?(may see devotion as less godly)

Gods still need to relax/rest, but Devotion will sometimes go so long trying to do things that will please Heartbreak without any rest, to the point that Devotion will get physically ill. Oftentimes, some of the gods will help devotion out, sometimes out of kindness and sometimes looking for favours.
