"What brings you to our part of the world?" Quintin asks.
"Trade"
“There doesn’t seem to be much to trade yet.” Percival says.
Quintin sighs. “What he means to say is the world is completely barren. I myself would be very appreciative of anything that could help my followers survive-he simply leaves his to feast on scraps.”
"I am a god of the forge, you can assume what I have to trade"
Quintin grins. “I could use a new set of armor.”
Percival sighs. “I suppose this is my cue to get going. Don’t go crazy.”

"I prefer making equipment for mortals"
“Let’s negotiate, then.”
"That is acceptable"
“I assume your forge needs materials and workers? And once money becomes a thing, it’ll need funds. I intend to have all three of these, and I can share a cut of it with you. This may be a long term deal-I don’t need my armor right away, and you probably don’t need workers, materials, and funds yet.”
”If that doesn’t work, do you have anything you’d like from me?”
“It seems a bit unnatural.” Percival says. “But I can appreciate one who wants to bring peace to our world. I’m Percival.” He smiles slightly. “Apologies for intruding on your territory. I’m looking for a place where my Cervics can stay without being hunted by my twin’s creations. This is nice, but… I’m not sure how to say this without seeming cruel. I want my people to be able to stay on their feet-and having a place of plenty seems like a disaster just waiting to happen. But of course, I haven’t even asked you. Quite rude of me.”
“And not let ourselves be distracted by tricky gods.” Bríz agrees.
“And… you’re a mortal?”
"Unnatural? I//we disagree. Efficiency is the most natural thing of all. And if I//we were not here, disaster could certainly strike, but my//our presence shrinks those chances to 0.0000000641%. you may stay, but your creations may not. I//we do not wish for them to disrupt my//our ecosystem"
"I am tricky gods. Trust me, I can spot them a mile away"
"Yeah. I assume you are too?"
“Makes sense to me.” He says, nodding. “But wouldn’t a god be more dangerous than anything a mortal could produce?”
”Wonderful. Our alliance is a good thing, then.”
”Yep. I’m Lily.” She pauses. “Sure you’re a mortal?”
"A god who wishes harm, yes. I//we do not wish harm"
"Of course!" They sip their wine "do you know of any other alliances?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
“I don’t either, but how would you tell? People are capable of lying. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
“I have merely been watching from the skies. It’s hard to hear from up there.”
“Well… that.” She says, pointing to the structure.
"I//we are exellent at detecting lies//falsehoods"
"No matter. I'm confident in our abilities"
"I didn't do that! It was this" she hefts the spear

“Huh. I’ll have to send my brother to you to see if that’s true. He lies constantly.”
“As am I. Sarlok, I haven’t heard much about your home world.”
“Suuuuure.” She says. “I guess weapons can be gods now.”

He nods. “I can provide that. My people love to hunt.” He smiles faintly, a glimmer in his eyes.
he/they
"Good,your brother farms,yes?"
When da yit gon flurgin
"How will you know his report is truthful?"
"Oh, it's nothing much. A place of lovers and artists, moods changing with the winds"
"I don't think it's a god. It doesn't talk, or demand anything, or do anything besides act like a normal spear. Besides that I guess"
"You remember me. Just think a little harder"

“We don’t have a good relationship. He’s out of the picture. I do intend to start areas of agriculture myself, though.”
he/they
“It was a joke.” Percival says, frowning. “No need to be so literal. Although I suppose I am quite deadpan.”
“That sounds wonderful. Sarlok, have I ever told you about my own lover?”
”Huh. Maybe we should test it out, then.”
he/they
"I have fertile lands for use...at a price"

“Oh? What’s the price?”
he/they
"A food tax"

“Seems reasonable. We can iron out the terms if you’d like-I know better than to not read the terms of a deal.”

Be sure to set your feet in the right place, then stand firm.
Finally back after a long break. Praise Jeff!
