There are many things the worlds value. Valor, intelligence, strength. But then there are those who simply want to win. The Games provide an outlet for that. Run at all times and open for anyone from any world, the games are a time for competitiveness and cheer that works at even the toughest times. The games are run in a demiplane by a rogue angel, who decided to make their mark on the world.
Games happen whenever it is convenient for me and usually last about a day, maybe longer. Games will be played with the DnD rules, and there will be set rules for games that will be put out beforehand. Cheating is allowed in this thread, but the Games themselves do not allow it, so be careful while cheating. If you would like to run a game, let me know. I’m happy to have some weight taken off my shoulders.
The Games have a few main locations. The demiplane only allows violence on game fields, meaning any attacks done outside of those areas are made null. There is an arena you can fight in at any time, and the streets are paved, white and gray, and at the very center there is a statue of a kneeling angel. There are a few houses that belong to the residents of the demiplane, and you can purchase one yourself if you have enough currency, which is gained by trading in currency from your home world or winning games. Most competitors stay at the hotel next to the Statue, which is what the kneeling angel is called. At the edge of the demiplane, there is a large forest, and at the Statue, there is a portal that allows you to travel to your home world and other authorized worlds.
This is primarily a roleplay thread, not a combat thread. Games will happen for tension, and if you wish to only roleplay (or only participate in games) that is perfectly fine. Not all games will be combat based though, there will be puzzles and other plot events that will occur on this thread. Make sure to use quotation marks when your character is speaking, and try to describe things to the best of your ability.
Character Creation Rules:
Level 3 start, roll two arrays and pick one, you cannot mix and match. Stats can add up to a maximum of 85. Choose between 2024 and 2014 for each character, you cannot use anything from the other version. Silvery barbs and Wish are banned, and homebrew and 3rd party must be run by me (only me, not just any mod). You level up by gaining an amount of wins equal to your level, to a maximum of 14 (after that you can only level through plot events). When you die, you level down a level, to a minimum of level 3. One uncommon magic item on start, and you must be granted magic items by mods in the future. Losing a game resets your wins until the next level, so you do not level down, but it resets your ability to level up.
RULEZ:
Keep things appropriate, please. Keep gore low, and no 18+ scenes. If you REALLY want to do that… do it in PMs.
Try to be respectful. Nobody likes a jerk.
Do not use swear words, if you need to curse, say (GP) instead.
Cut your quote chains! It’s a hard lesson to learn, but it must be learned.

Remember the rules of permission, permission to attack, permission to kill, permission to romance, permission to hurt, permission to do anything sexual (although that should not be allowed here).
