I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I figured maybe someone in the d&d community know the answer or where I can get it.
I recently got into Miniature painting (specifically the ones from Nolzur's Marvelous Miniature) and I have this problem. I used some minis for a while before wanting to paint them so the primer that comes on them started to come off. A guy at my local game store that does paint minis told me to let them soak in Simple Green for a week. That way the old primer would come off and I can put new primer that wont peel off with time due to being already worn.
So I did. And I brushed them afterwards with a used toothbrush and handsoap. And yet some old primer still sticks to them, and wont come off easely. Do I let them soak more? Do I find a small pointy object to scratch/rub it off? Or does leaving the old remaining primer won't change a thing and I sould not worry with such things?
Huh, I responded to this yesterday but I guess it didn't post. Anyway....
Any primer left after a week of soaking that didn't come off isn't going anywhere. I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure it's well cleaned of any simple green and re-apply primer.

Well I just followed Bobo's advice and asked in a more appropriate place, but I appreciate the help!
