So, I have been obsessed with our Universe as of late. The one we all live, breed, and die in. I will find myself up late contemplating the cosmos, then I will find my thought degrading to the quantum. I will browse YouTube for lectures, TED Talks, Documentaries, and whatever else I can find that will help me understand what I don't understand. Is this Universe a hologram? Are Black Holes the beginning or The End? What makes us, humans, us? Why do stars do star things? Why? WHy? WHY?
And it's got me thinking, on top of the 1,000,000 other things I ponder late at night, what does the advancement of our knowledge of the Universe mean for future generations of gamers?
Will we stick the script of the Forgotten Realms, the multiverse theory; or will the worlds we play in mirror our own as they have for centuries? If and when there is a Universal law that brings together Einstein's Laws of Relativity and the magic of the Quantum Realm, will there be a change to how we tell our stories in the games we play?
And on another note, if this Universe is a Hologram, then are the characters we play actual constructs of the Holographic Universe?
Does the science of tomorrow have a place in the worlds of flight and fantasy that we divest a portion of our lives into? I find myself attracted to the theories that we are the constructs of a simulation. How weird is that? How STRANGE is that this is the one thing that makes sense across the spectrum of Physics? Is someone rolling dice for us? Is it a God? Or are we just a mirror of what was?
Physicists understand entropy way more than I ever will. I know I once thought that time was a construct of our own mind, that everything decays and dies. Yet, the Universe denies that concept...lol silly old Universe, taking our thoughts and turning them into bad ideas lol
Anyways, will science change the way we tell our stories in gaming of the future? Does anyone else keep themselves up late at night wondering about this stuff too?

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."
