In this adventure, the party has been sent out to locate the community's local hermit and spiritual leader. It is planting season in the town of Shallowroot and the farmers want his advice and blessings for the coming year. Along the path to the hermit's hut, the party will face a gang of Thunderwood Twig Blights or a pack of Hunting Dogs. After this encounter, the party stumbles upon the empty cabin of Manni the hermit. Manni has been trapped inside his crystal ball which has come alive. Once inside the small hut, the party must find a way to free Manni and stop the Crystal Ball from consuming them all.
